Process
Hand stitched by La Réunion in NYC with Seek Collective zero-waste fabrics that are handloom woven, hand block printed, and/or naturally dyed.
Details
We collaborated on a small batch of extra limited-edition, one-of-a-kind dresses with sustainable artist and designer Sarah Nsikak of La Réunion, who stitches patchwork dresses inspired by the resilience and strength of the Namibian women of the Herero tribe. Made from recycled Seek Collective cotton fabric scraps, these zero-waste dresses honor the slow fashion movement and the creativity of hand-stitched work. Each dress is a unique and wearable work of art.
These dresses are reversible, so you can change up the look by wearing them "backwards." They're also designed for layering, so add a shirt or sweater underneath to take them into the cooler months.
100% Cotton
Each dress is one-of-a-kind, so patchwork and fabric placements vary.
